This park is located at around 370 miles 600 to the north-west of Adelaide. It is one of the jewels of the Eyre Peninsula and southern Australia in general. This region of contrasts, that experienced intense volcanic activity thousands of years ago, has remained intact. Here you can discover its undulating hills, gorges, salt lakes, woods with several plant species and its unusual fauna, such as the Yellow-footed Rock-wallaby. Now a National Park, Gawler Ranges is accessible in cars for which, and out of respect for the environment, several routes have been marked out.
