Graz You could really do with a whole day to wander the old streets and admire the stucco façades of the little houses. Glyn Thomas / age fotostock
A day should be devoted to the city of Graz to visit its old districts and the amazing castle of Eggenberg. Due to its size, Graz is the second largest city in Austria. Its old districts still have numerous houses whose facades have been decorated with stucco. Do not miss the cathedral and the university either, as they are included in the architectural jewels of the city. For the viewing point, go to the Schlossberg: you will look over a considerable part of the city from the top of this rock topped by a belfry. Go there on foot and re-descend in a cable car to make the most of the excursion.
