The climate is 'dry continental', apart from in the south, which has a hot and humid tropical climate. The heat is moderate on the shores of the Caspian Sea and temperatures vary between 20 and 30°C from April to October, and between 10 and 15 °C from December to March. The best season to visit the country is from April to October, particularly as temperatures can reach up to 38°C in August.
