Generally, the Bahamas are divided into two separate parts. On the one hand, the couple of islands formed by New Providence and Grand Bahama, and on the other, the Out Islands, of which the best known are the archipelagos of the Abacos, the Biminis, Exuma, and the islands of Cat Island, San Salvador, Andros, Eleuthera and Inagua. Of all the archipelago's islands, only about thirty are open to tourists.
