Lucaya, to the East of Freeport, is an area that is dedicated to tourism: hotels, restaurants, bars, shops and services; they are all there. You can discover numerous Creole wooden cabins in bright colours there, and a very international atmosphere. So walk along the port and marina alleys, where all sorts of boats lie side by side.
Go to Sanctuary Bay and swim with the dolphins in the largest complex of its type in the world (Unexso Dolphin Experience, Port Lucaya). Give yourself shivers while playing roulette at the Lucayan Beach Resort Casino. Discover the 5,000 varieties of rare trees in the Garden of the Groves, located in the East of the town (Midshipman Road and Magellan Drive, $5, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM).
