You cannot claim to really know the Bahamas until you have visited its Out Islands. Upon landing clichés are far behind...the noisy paradise full of American tourists in shorts and flowery shirts are non-existent here. Night clubs, casinos, and shopping centres are scarce here. The scenery offered by the Out Islands is more or less as they were when Christopher Columbus discovered them five centuries ago.
