You must not miss the town of Bagerhat. It is considered as a town-mosque, and classified as world heritage. The most famous, biggest and most beautiful mosque in the whole country is Shait Gumbad, which means "the temple with the sixty domes" (actually, the building has seventy seven of them). This place is an architectural marvel. Outside the numerous mosques, you can visit one of the largest Hindu temples: the Khodla Math. Located five miles away, it is a colossus of bricks, whose spires pierce through the treetops, and whose facade is profusely decorated.
