The Bangladeshis love poetry and are proud of their poets. Their photos are posted up in the restaurants and shops. Rabindranath Tagore, a writer, artist and philosopher, was given the Nobel Prize for literature in 1913. One of his poems "Amar Shona Bangla", (my golden Bengal) has become the national anthem of Bangladesh.
