You can buy jewellery (bracelets of glass or shells) and items in copper or leather. You must not miss the products made of jute, notably the carpets. You can find them in all sizes and all colours, and at affordable prices. The fabrics are of good quality: allow yourself to be tempted by saris in embroidered silk and delicate muslin. The clothing industry in Bangladesh is one of the most prolific in the world, for export. You can clothe yourself from head to toe (tee-shirts, cotton shorts and trousers, jeans, saris...) in the Banga Bazaar in Dhaka. Shops usually open from 9:00 AM to 10:00 PM apart from on Friday, the official closing day.
