The Anvers royal fine arts museum holds œworks by the Flemish early masters and Rubens, in a building dating from the 19th century. The Plantin-Moretus museum includes the old home and a huge printing press from the 17th century. It tells the history of the old book in the Netherlands from the 16th to the 17th century. It holds a collection of drawings, engravings, manuscripts, and editions of uncalculable value. The Diamond museum shows original pieces that are amongst the most prestigious in the world, and also some copies. Note: the reconstituted diamond workshop, and the cutting of the stone before your very eyes.
