Peat bogs, fields of herbs and spruces spread out of sight to the east of Liège, on the Hautes Fagnes plateau. A discovery path offers an outing. You walk on duckboards and discover the fauna and flora. In the centre of the plateau, go and see the highest point of Belgium, the Signal de Botrange, at 2,276 feet. It has a magnificent view from the top of its tower.
