Everyone who likes sand yachting gets together between the seaside resorts of Oostduinkerke and La Panne. This latter is one of the most beautiful on the coast. Its beach is also the biggest. Its multicoloured beach huts give it a slightly retro appearance. At Coxyde, shrimp fishers on horseback work at low tide. The biggest dune is 108 feet high. Travelling back towards the Netherlands, you reach Ostend. This modern town has a marina and a casino. Its restaurants serve very good fish. In the evening, the café terraces of the elegant Knokke-Heistle Zoute bristle with people. Also, do not miss the casino.
