Apart from the warm water multicoloured fish, there is hardly any fauna here. There is no animal species that is endemic to Bermuda. Having recently become aware of the poverty of its fauna and environmental problems connected to tourism, the government is trying to reintroduce species that are dying out, such as the lizard and the sea turtle.
