Botswana's north east parks of Makgadikgadi and Nxai Pan are where, from February to April, the great migrations occur; zebras, antelope and gnus move from south to north, watched closely by a pack of predators. The two reserves both have vast expanses of prairies and savannah broken up only by the odd salt lake to complete an amazing panaroma.
