To the north west of the country in the middle of the Okavango delta, the natural reserve of Moremi, with its dry landscapes and stretches of marsh, is considered by many people to be one of the most beautiful reserves in the whole of Botswana. Moremi, which represents around 20% of the total surface of the delta, has a considerable variety of animals: buffaloes, elephants, giraffes, lions, leopards, cheetahs, wild dogs, hyenas, jackals, and antelopes.
