Ouagadougou, the capital, does not have any particular attraction for tourists, however, it is enjoyable for its liveliness. It may be interesting to visit the city in a car or on a moped, to see the diversity of the districts, the extent of the city, and the urban organisation. Amongst the places to visit at Ouagadougou are: the main, covered market, organised into sectors of activity, the palace of Moro Naba, which has a traditional ceremony in front of it each morning at dawn, and the national museum. If you can, it is very enjoyable to be in Ouagadougou during the Fespaco (Festival of Panafrican cinema) or the SIAO (International Exhibition of Craftwork).
