30 minutes by car from Sihanoukville, the Preah Sihanouk "Ream" national park embraces the coast of the Gulf of Siam and covers 2 islands and 21,000 hectares of beach, marshes, mangroves, and coral reefs. Various endangered species live there, such as sambar deer and civets, and also porcupines, scaly ant-eaters and dolphins. Visits are by boat or on foot with a guide. Created in 1993, this park is a real haunt for all types of animals.
