You can usefully complete a stay in Angkor by visiting the interesting National Museum of Phnom Penh. Even deprived of some of its treasures that were destroyed or stolen by the Khmers Rouges, it is full of precious objects bearing witness to the richness of local art. There are very beautiful collections of Angkorian pieces (particularly statues) there.
