In the west of the country, you have to visit Foumban, an important centre for African craftwork, which is also the chief town in the Bamoum area, the Muslim region of Cameroon. You must not miss a visit to the Sultan's palace and its museum to understand the history of the Bamoum dynasty. On Friday, you can also see the current Sultan go out.
