This horticultural exhibition was inaugurated in 2000 and is held every 3 years. Incredible, amazing and gigantic, the Mosaïcultures takes place in Montreal's Botanical Gardens. From June to September, around 50 spectacular 2D and 3D plant works take over the garden, and are grouped into themed sections. Couples, families and friends will discover an enchanting circuit as they stroll through the gardens. Both an international mosaiculture competition and an exhibition of horticultural art, the Mosaïcultures Internationales is also an opportunity to exchange knowledge and to raise awareness of environmental responsibility. The artists only have one constraint: their works must reflect their culture while responding to a predefined theme and complying with the principles of sustainable development. In 2013, the Montreal Botanical Garden welcomed some 200 artists from 20 different countries.
