To the north of the city of Quebec, on the Beaupré coast, the Montmorency River runs gently in the direction of the Saint Lawrence, and then a difference in altitude creates some 260 ft of falls - one and a half times higher than the Niagara Falls - providing an incredible natural spectacle.
