The Queen Charlotte islands are in the north of the province. There are around 150 islands of different sizes. Beaches and small villages enliven this corner of paradise, protected from the western storms by the Queen Charlotte and San Christoval mountains. Do not miss: the small American Indian village of Skidegate and its beach on the Roonay bay. You have to go to Queen Charlotte city, a village beside the sea, for a festive atmosphere and to do sea kayaking.
