The Sunshine Coast You can reach this coast and its unspoilt nature by ferry from Vancouver. © Eric Debray
In the south of the province, the Sunshine Coast, along the Georgia Strait, extends along a forest where roses, orchids, bears and roe deers exist side by side. Fishing villages, seaside resorts and beaches follow each other on this coast, which is accessible from Vancouver, but only from the sea: there are no roads... Lund beach is particularly nice, and allows you to do sea kayaking.
