Toronto, the capital of Ontario, is also the biggest city in Canada. Highly cosmopolitan, this dynamic city shelters various communities. To change culture and country in the space of a few hours, the different districts of Chinatown, Little Italy, Little India or Koreatown are worth a detour. Located on the banks of Lake Ontario, Toronto combines nature and urbanity. Boats leave from Queen's Quay Terminal to cruise around the bay and to the Toronto islands, where one can swim, sunbathe, and go for walks. Not far from the quay, the CN Tower, on Front Street West, is the highest observation building in the world. It offers an unbeatable view over the city from the top of its 1,815.38 feet, which is accessible by a glass lift. The business and theatre district continues the Toronto paradox with the Roy Thompson Hall, a futuristic building with reflective glass, the commercial bank building, a magnificent example of Romanesque architecture, or the old stock exchange, which is typically art deco. The Ontario Royal Museum is the only museum to visit if you can only visit one, in the whole of Canada: with six million treasures, it is the largest public museum in the country.
