There is a considerable amount of African fauna in the reserves of the national parks of Bamingui-Bangoran, Saint-Floris, and André-Félix, located in the north of the country. You can see elephants, lions, leopards, waterbucks, buffalo and moose. The lakes and rivers shelter crocodiles and hippopotamuses, while the forests hold birds, monkeys, and warthogs.
