Flora The Central African Republic displays a surprising contrast between its lush green jungle and its particularly dry savannah. © V. Durruty / Hoa Qui
The flora is represented by the savannah in the north, and tropical forest in the south. The exuberant vegetation forms a very dense network, particularly in the region of Lobaye, which is a forest. Take the road to Mangoumba south of Bangui - you will cross a real gallery of greenness before re-joining the village of Mangoumba, located beside the river Oubangui.
