Registered with Unesco as world heritage since 1988, this park holds rich and varied fauna and flora. Black rhinoceros, elephants, cheetahs, leopards, wild dogs, red-fronted gazelles and buffalo thrive in this park. Water birds take refuge in the northern flood plains.
