After Bouar, the Niem track allows you to reach the mountain range of Yadé, where Mount Ngaoui is, the highest point in the country at 4,600 feet. The track is spectacular, however, long and difficult. You should not take it without being perfectly equipped. Also take advice on security from the local authorities.
