Landscapes in China - the Silk Road

Landscapes

There are the yellow valleys of Shaanxi and the vast desert expanses of Gansu that alternate with vast fields of corn that are always yellow; the landscapes in the colours of the sun are present everywhere but in no way identical. Mountains, cliffs, deserts, forests, oases, fields of cotton and corn: the scenery around the Silk Road is an astounding mix of geological formations.
