Mohéli is the wildest island in the archipelago. With a mountain range running through it, its large tropical forest is suitable for hiking and it is easily accessible from Fomboni, its capital. As well as the numerous deserted beaches you may also chance upon the Dziani Boundouni Lake and the Saint-Antoine Castle, which is a chalet perched on a mountain, where you can spend the night, if nobody else thought of it before you. However, not many tourists go to Mohéli.
