Pointe-Noire and Pointe-Indienne, Congo. Located on the Atlantic coast, these two cities constitute the main economic centres of the country (thanks to the potassium trade in particular) © Michel Renaudeau / Hoa Qui
The Congo sea front, on the Atlantic Ocean, is 106 miles long. It consists of a succession of shaded bays and lagoons lined with mangroves. The Pointe-Noire and Pointe-Indienne Bays form a grandiose setting. The region nearby Pointe-Noire, called the "wild coast", offers a few beautiful beaches and fishing possibilities.
