Cyprus has a dry and mild Mediterranean climate and can be visited all year round. During summer, scorching temperatures of up to 45°C, are moderated by coastal breezes. If you don't like the heat, do not visit the island in July or August, when average temperatures exceed 33°C. Early and late season can thus be a good compromise, as you'll still benefit from the sunshine, but without the stifling heat. Be aware that the temperature of the seawater stays cool until Easter.
