Denmark has a humid oceanic climate, tempered by the Gulf Stream. The average highest temperature in January are around 5°C, and around 22°C in July. There is a maximum of 10°C in April and of 12°C in October. Due to the northern geographic location of the country, the days are long in June and July, months during which the sunsets only occur after 9.00 pm. It is the best period to enjoy the 'clear nights'.
