From Moulhoulé, a road runs along the coast of the Red sea to the North-East of the country, and gives access to the extreme south of Bab al Mandeb, the "Gate of Tears", a legendary strait 19 miles long separating Africa from the Arabian Peninsula. When the sky is clear, you can see the rough coast of northern Yemen. To the South, the track goes through Ras Syan, a rocky peninsula surrounded by desert islands in the shape of a shark's tooth. It is the Sept-Frères (Seven Brothers) Archipelago, one of the best sites for underwater diving and fishing.
