To the northwest of the island, you will find the most famous beach, Toucary Bay. On the east coast, which is windier, it is less crowded (except for Calibishie Bay which attracts vistors because of its diving possibilities, and the beautiful Batibou Bay, which is the nicest beach on the island). The best place for underwater diving, however, is at the extreme southwest of the island in Scotts Head Bay.
