The Dominican Republic has 960 miles of coastline and 370 miles of beaches, of delightfully fine, shiny and soft sand: it is paradise for sun bathing and relaxing. The island's main asset, however, is the diversity of its coasts, shaken by the Atlantic Ocean in the North and soothingly rocked by the Caribbean Sea in the south. Punta Cana is the country's most famous beach. A real postcard location where three colours dominate: white sand, blue sky and turquoise water.
