The Red Sea coast spreads over more than 495 miles: from Suez in the north, to the village of Bir Shalatein in the south. Famous for its coral reefs, turquoise waters and exotic fauna, it has become a major tourist location. Various seaside resorts have established themselves here. Hurghada and Sharm El-Sheikh are by far the most popular, in particular for their diving spots.
