At the top of your 'to do' list should be a visit to the monumental temple of Karnak, the largest in Egypt, and the temple of Luxor. After that, why not head off to explore the tombs of the Valleys of the Kings and Queens. The bright colours of the bas-reliefs found here are simply stunning. The most beautiful Pharaoh tombs are those of Seti I, Amenhotep II, Thutmose III and Horemheb (if they are open when you visit then be sure to check them out first), whereas the finest of their spouse's tombs is that of Nefertari. Deir el-Bahari, the funerary temple of Queen Hatshepsut, is also worth a look when visiting the valley. If you have a little time to stroll around Luxor, you might like to go and visit the city's Antiquities Museum.
