Visit the temple of Karnak, the largest in Egypt, followed by the tombs of the Valleys of the Kings and the Queens. The bright-colours of the bas-reliefs are stunning. The most beautiful Pharaoh tombs are those of Seti I, Amenhotep II, Thutmose III, Horemheb and Nefertari. In the valley go to see Deir el-Bahari, the funeral temple of the Queen Hatchepsut. If you have some time to walk around Luxor, go and visit the city's Antiquity Museum, also worth a visit.
