Sugar cane, wheat, sweetcorn and sorghum are the main agricultural products of Egypt. The country also produces tomatoes, potatoes, cotton, dates and citrus fruits. The fields are found along the shores of the river Nile, because except for a few oases, it is the only irrigated land of the country. In those fields, by the water, is where the black-necked spitting Cobra lives, a venomous snake that comes out at night.
