The equatorial climate is hot with a high humidity. Average annual temperature is about 25°C. On Bioco Island, the rainy season starts in July and lasts until January. The south of the continental part of the country has two rainy seasons: from September to November and from mid-February to June. The best season to visit the country is from December to May, during the dry season.
