Local cooking is nothing special. The most common is breaded meat with chips, cabbage and sweet carrots. Smoked fish, especifically trout, is an Estonian speciality. Leib (black bread) is the main food. You can experience tasting Sült, jellied meat, of which you would probably rather not know what it is made. Very influenced by German cooking, the Estonian eat Kringel, a sweet bread, sprinkled with nuts and raisins. The national liqueur is the Vana Tallinn. Some of its critics compare it's taste to cough syrup. The most popular beer is called Saku Originaal.
