The Abou Nawas Boujaafar is located in the middle of Sousse and its beach is very modest in size. In return, the thalassatherapy centre is a non negligible plus. It is better to choose this address during low season: this way, you can associate relaxation and discovery of the old city of Sousse.
6.5/10
Built in 1991, the Abou Nawas Boujaafar has a nine-story building including 234 rooms. The decoration mixes oriental and contemporary influences. The relaxation areas are reduced to the small portion around an oval 3,225 square feet swimming pool. In return, the equipment offered are numerous: sunshades, deckchairs and towels. The thalassatherapy centre allows you to subscribe to à la carte treatments or to have a package for 4, 6, or 9 days.
6.25/10
The rooms, spacious and comfortable, are nicely furnished with a contemporary style furniture: they have a balcony, satellite television, telephone and adjustable air conditioning. Bathrooms are equipped with a bathtub. Half of the rooms have a view of the sea, the others of the city.
6/10
Breakfast and dinner are served buffet style in a nice room decorated with pastel colours. The cuisine is made of local and international specialties. An à la carte restaurant allows you to enjoy dietary menus in a particularly refined environment.
5.5/10
You get to the beach of the Abou Nawas Boujaafar through a concrete pier. The beach is small but well equipped (sunshades, deckchairs, showers and snack-bar). An nautical base allows you to practice pedalo and windsurfing (with supplement).
