28 to 35 trilingual persons entertain during the day and the evening in the club, offering sports programs (at the club or on the beach), games or shows. 4 animators take special care of children. Kids are welcomed to a great mini-club with a separate swimming pool and game area.
7.5/10
Built in 1999, directly on the beach of Sidi Mahres, the Al Jazira has a central main building and annexes, in Djerbian style, no higher than two storeys. On the central plaza there is music, two swimming pools surrounded by lounge chairs and parasols.
7/10
The club has 273 rooms housed in the main building and the bungalows. They have a balcony or a terrace overlooking the sea or the gardens (be careful about facing terraces). They are all air conditioned and have bathrooms with bathtubs or showers (a bathroom for children in quad rooms). As for amenities, you will find a telephone with an international direct line, a satellite television, and a safe (fee).
8.5/10
The quality of the food is one of the strong points of the club. The main restaurant welcomes the hotel's customers with huge buffets filled with grilled meats and fish. Two theme meals are organised each week: a Tunisian evening and an evening gala, with candlelight and a varied buffet. With a reservation, you can dine in the a la carte restaurant (French cuisine). A snack-bar is open all day long (pastries, pizzas, hot-dogs, hamburgers). From 10 am to midnight, drinks are served for free at the bar on the beach and at the swimming pool (Tunisian drinks alcoholic or not).
8/10
The very long beach of Al Jazira is close to the hotel. Here, no long walks to get yourself in the water. The beach is equipped with parasols, showers, and lounge chairs. You can windsurf, catamaran or pedalo.
