Opened in November 2006, the Angsana Velavaru has a large reception area, in green and pastel colours, adorned with columns and big lampposts. The ground is covered with sand, laid out with little platforms. The hotel's reception is impressive and is one of the highlights of the hotel, just like the main restaurant, located in front of the beach, facing the sea, with a panoramic, unobstructed sea view, or the bar furnished with black armchairs and a television... The hotel has 79 rooms distributed in several buildings. Conviviality and welcoming are the keywords for this exceptional site where the quality of service is high. The spa will also be the site of your exhilaration, where you will engage in massage pleasures, given by very well trained women. Sauna, hammam and fitness room will allow you to complete your relaxation activities. A kids club has been set up for 3 to 12 years old children. The 79 rooms are divided in 3 categories : the villas with swimming pool, the villas with jacuzzi, the beach villas. Every room has a terrace with deckchairs and a bathroom with inside and outside showers. The harmony of the ocre and beige colours gives a warm atmosphere to the rooms. The rooms are fully equipped; they have all the necessary comfort except for the television. Here, the concept rules it out : you are here to enjoy the island. The hotel has two quality restaurants, one located on the beach with a sea view, the other on the end of the arrival dock, above the water, in a panoramic structure, adorned with bay windows. The first has a high ceiling, with your feet in the sand, and is furnished with black wooden tables and pretty chandeliers. The place is spacious and opens onto a terrace facing the sea. The international and local cuisine is particularly tasty, served at the table or buffet style. Just like the seafood speciality restaurant, very private, open for lunch and dinner.

The beach is very beautiful, lined with white sand, with a magnificent view over the large lagoon. The beach is rather large in places. There are private deckchairs in each villa. The beach has a water sports centre offering : free or bottle underwater diving, game fishing, banana boat, ringo, sailing, windsurfing, kayaking, canoeing, water skiing...
