The Club Med La Palmeraie works with La Medina to offer its customers easy access to the centre of Marrakech and a more diverse choice of restaurants and cafés. Guests staying at La Palmeraie can have lunch or dinner at the restaurant of La Medina and enjoy the Moorish café, which overlooks Jemaa El Fna Square. To get there, a shuttle runs every 30 minutes from 8 a.m. to 2 a.m.
As for leisure opportunities, the club Med La Palmeraie has a wide range of particularly extensive facilities : clay tennis courts, a golf course with a pitch and putt course of 9 holes, a field for archery, fitness equipment and high tech spa offering, under the name of "Five Worlds", fitness classes (upon reservation before going) as well as a la carte care treatments, oriental scrubs and baths, massages, whirlpool baths.
Equipped with panoramic tower inspired by the defence towers of Moroccan villages, the Club Med La Palmeraie has glasses for observation on the first floor, where a Moorish café awaits you. Here, you can relax in the evening with the sound of a grand piano and taking the opportunity to identify constellations that emerge after nightfall.
Although it gladly welcoming families, the Club Med La Palmeraie does not have special facilities such as games area or a kid's club. Therefore it is better to stay somewhere different if you are accoompanied by your little ones.

Opened in June 2004, the Club Med La Palmeraie consists of a main building housing the reception, the restaurants and the bars, as well as 4 units on 2 floors where the rooms are gathered. The very spacious relaxation areas, which cover a total of 60 acres, consist of gardens planted with palm trees, olive trees, hibiscus and roses. They are crossed by "séguias", the traditional irrigation canals, here paved with mosaics. The two swimming pools have been planned for swimming, sunbathing in beauty and relaxing. The biggest extends over 7534 ft². Crossed in the middle by a bridge, it allows you to swim lengths, paddle or attend classes of aquagym. The second swimming pool, called the "quiet pool", is much smaller, but it is not included in the animation programme. Adorned with a fountain, you can read or take a nap without being disturbed. In both cases, wooden deckchairs, mattresses of high quality, straw umbrellas and towels are provided. Every evening, a thematic evening is organised. On Monday, a Moroccan evening immerses holidaymakers into an oriental atmosphere.

The 300 rooms of the Palmeraie offer space, comfort and immaculate decoration. Spreading on 376 ft², each of them extends onto terrace or a balcony filled with a garden furniture made of wrought iron.. The bathrooms, decorated with zelliges (glazed terra cotta tiles), have been equipped with a shower onto the floor and a sink topped by a large mirror. The toilets are separate. In the room, a cozy sofa with dark-red fabric gives a pleasant touch to the Moroccan style, while the bed head is built into a bare brick arch. The closets, made of cedar wood, smell of the forest. A wide-screen satellite television is installed near the sofa. A direct telephone and safe are also available. It only lacks a mini-bar.

You can access the buffet restaurant via a covered walkway facing the reception. It is divided into several sections, including a terrace and a patio for those who prefer to eat outdoors. Just like the rest of the hotel, the decoration follows the Moroccan tradition with major emphasis on traditional materials and details such as arches decorated with clay brick, wrought iron lampshades, and box beam ceilings. As for meals, buffets are varied, copius and tasty. In the morning, fresh fruit juice, warm pastries and trays of dried fruit brighten the stands of cereals, meats, and cheese. You can also have pancakes prepared for you upon request. At noon and in the evening, salads, meats, fish and desserts (fruit tarts, mousses, creams, charlottes) make up a menu that both looks and tastes good. Those who wish to enjoy Moroccan specialties in an intimate setting can make a reservation at the a la carte restaurant. A snack bar is also available to customers.
