The Club Med Le Riad is located in The Club Med La Palmeraie, near the spa and golf, 7 miles away (20 minutes by car) from the centre Marrakech and about 9 miles (30 minutes by car) from the airport.

The customers of Club Med Le Riad enjoy the restaurants, entertainment and activities of Club Med La Palmeraie and La Medina. Shuttle buses travel between the two sites every 30 minutes.

The Riad opened in January 2005. Located in a palm grove setting, among fountains and cacti, Le Riad offers its customers a heated outdoor swimming pool, private gardens and lounges with a fireplace in a subdued atmosphere, decorated with carved wood, cushions and warm coloured fabrics, paintings by French artists, inspired by the culture and landscape of Morocco. Here, you will also find a piano bar where Moroccan orchestras play once or twice a week during the aperitif time, a bar lounge, a multi-media library. A tea service is offered every afternoon with a demonstration of the fabrication of argan oil. Some artists give painting lessons. Embroidery courses are also held. Special trips are organised for guests of Club Med Le Riyad.

30 suites on the same level as the garden with a shaded, furnished terrace and a private garden of nearly 1080 ft² and 30 suites on the first floor with a private terrace, also furnished, a shower, and a view of the peaks of the Atlas range... 60 suites of 516 ft² each adorned with refined decoration that is both traditionally Moroccan and contemporary. The welcome products will seduce you : babouches (oriental slippers), travel diaries, cosmetics ... The rooms, adorned with tadelak, with gilding on the cedar furniture, are decorated in vibrant colours, with rose petals scattered everywhere, up to the bathroom. The rooms include a lounge. The bathrooms have a bathtub and a shower. The toilets are separate. The rooms are equipped with a wide-screen television with 15 channels,9 of which are French speaking, a DVD player, a CD player. 16 DVD movies are offered by the club and played on repeat. The rooms have Wi-Fi Internet access, telephone direct for international calls, a mini fridge and a safe. Most of the rooms are communicating. Room service (extra cost) operates from 7 a.m. to 2 a.m.

Breakfasts are served around the swimming pool or in the rooms. Refreshments are offered at the bar, open from 8 a.m. to 2 a.m., coloured in purple and pink and decorated with black wood. . Lunch and dinner can be taken in the rooms thanks to the room service or at the snack bar of the Club Med La Palmeraie (surcharge upon the reservation) or at the restaurants of Club Med La Palmeraie and La Medina (see details). The Club Med La Palmeraie offers two restaurants: a buffet and a restaurant serving Moroccan specialties (available upon reservation). Two bars are available to customers. The Club Med La Medina has a restaurant offering Mediterranean specialities (upon reservation in the evening). A bar and a Moorish café on the terrace are also available. Shuttles provide the transfer between different Club Med facilities during meal times.
