The hotel is well situated. Only 0.5 mile away you will find the Barclay's bank, even though the hotel has its own exchange bureau. The hospital in Diani is also nearby.
In addition to the pleasant setting of its various restaurants, the hotel organises dinners around the swimming pool depending on the weather, that is favorable almost every day.
The Coco Jumbo Kid's Club welcomes children and offers many distractions to them: building of sand castles, treasure hunts, films, games, drawings... All these activities enable customers not to notice the presence of the youngest.

You have not entered the hotel yet that a sign outside sets the tone: a huge white sail indicates the entrance of the building. Here, customers are welcomed with a glass of champagne. The floor of the lobby is simply a large basin with glass bottom: several fish are swimming in the water quietly and peacefully. The reception desk is guarded by two huge swahili guards made of terra cotta. This vast hall boasts a cosy atmosphere thanks to its black and white furniture. The roof is designed in bee balm beams, protected by makuti. The four corners of the room are decorated with small palm trees. You access the rest of the hotel through a walkway running above a charming flowery pond that supports the weight of a great baobab. The modern architecture of the Diani Reef is emphasized by touches of Africa.
The hotel has two swimming pools. The first one is crossed at various places by small wooden bridges. Its rounded shapes are propped entirely on the abundant vegetation, which is very well maintained Alongside the pool bar, it is possible to bask in the sun in the adjacent jacuzzi. The second swimming pool is located near the spa. In order to respect the tranquillity of the place, children under the age of 12 must be accompanied to bathe.
The Nirvana Health and Wellness Spa is the largest spa on the Kenyan coast and certainly the most pleasant. Its interior courtyard exudes an atmosphere of tranquility. The central patio fountain allows water to flow gently along the walls of a large jar. Surrounded by sprouting cocos, the bar enables guests to have a drink after a treatment. A large resting room faces the Indian Ocean. The experienced masseuses use products branded Lilian Terry. The center offers a multitude of care treatments: youth stimulating treatment, reflexology, exfoliation, Cleopatra milk bath... Sunburns would be carefully treated here!

The Diani Reef has 143 rooms: from standard rooms to the presidential suite! The external corridors leading to the rooms have no windows but are still air-conditioned. Guests accommodated on upper floors can use a lift serving all parts of the hotel. The room is spacious. A small sitting area is located right next to the large bay windows. The light-coloured wooden furniture highlights the blue shade colours on the bedspread and the curtains. There is everything you need: a mosquito net, a free safe, television, a mini-bar and a telephone line for direct international calls. Addicts of laptops can connect to the Internet, as all rooms are equipped with Wi-Fi (available for additional payment). The room service available 24/7 takes care of all your wishes. You can even have your shoes polished! The bathroom is not very spacious, but the bright marble allows for good access of sunlight. It is equipped with a hair dryer, welcome products from the hotel and even a corkscrew hung on the wall!
The hotel provides for all the comfort of its clients: Some rooms have a double bed, and others have twin beds. We advise you to take a room on a higher floor to get a good view onto the sea.

Three restaurants, three different environments. The Coral Rock Cafe is the largest. The tables are arranged on two levels. Open onto outside, it is possible to have all three daily meals on the terrace. The pastel shades of pink of the furniture match perfectly with the reflection of the ocean. The restaurant operates buffet-style. Open from 7.00am to 11.00pm, small cravings will be filled up with pastries, ice cream or fresh homemade bread.
The Fins Sea Food and Grill is a restaurant that serves à la carte, offering Mediterranean cuisine at noon but also specialties of seafood for dinner. The bar counter is surrounded by clams installed in the sand. A very pleasant setting to have a meal and contemplate the nearby sea.
The Sake Oriental Restaurant enjoys a fine reputation. It is known as the best Asian restaurant on the coast. Japanese, Chinese or Indian cuisine will be served on the very floor, according to the Asian tradition. Coffee tables are surrounded with comfortable cushions. An interior garden adds charming final touches to the place.
Drinks can be ordered at the Pool Bar. What a delight to drink a cocktail sitting in the water! As for sports, you can watch your favourite team's matches at the Sports Bar. For tea time but also for the piano bar, visit the Zebra Square Bar: a safari ambience with its large sofas in zebra tapestry. The ambience of a lounge in a very intimate bar.
And for exciting evenings, visit the Dunes Night Spot open from 10.00pm. This theatre hall offers performances and turns into a dance floor. You cannot help but enjoy a nice little cocktail!

Many hotels are located along the Diani beach, but this one is one of the few to have provided deckchairs on the sand, finally! The deckchairs are separated to guarantee decent privacy to holidaymakers. The blue towels spread on the beige mattresses match in a beautiful harmony with the colour of white sand and the azure blue of the ocean. Next to the sailing club, there are large rest-beds where it is pleasant to take a short nap in the shade.
Those being sensitive to the cold would not resist the water temperature! Due to tides, it is difficult to bathe before the water gets high again. The coral reef is not very far, you will then find some dead corals and some algae along the shore. But then they give way to sand. Swimming is not supervised by a swimming instructor, but actually the risk is not big: the current is not strong and the beach is not very windy.
