On the west coast of Mahé, in Port Glaud bay, a few minute walk from the beach and the natural reserve of Port Launey. Victoria, the Seychelles' capital, is located a few miles away. Expect 30 minutes for the transfer from the airport located 12 miles away.

During our visit the establishment had started the construction of a new restaurant. New villas and a swimming pool were also planned. Considering its location on the outskirts, renting a car is highly recommended, moreover the hotel has its own car rental offering preferential prices to its guests.

6.5/10

Built in the greenery of Port Glaud heights, the Eden's Holidays Resort is built like a small village with 8 adjoining white villas. The reception is built below, at the level of the parking, and lead to the hotel's bar and restaurant by steep stairs. Just above the site is a rotunda providing a superb panoramic view of the bay and the islands as well as the small tortoise park.

7.5/10

The lodgings are divided into 2 types: one-room villas for 2 adults and a child, and two-room villas for 4 adults and a child. All are furnished with satellite TV, safe, individual air-conditioning, direct telephone direct and a well furnished kitchenette. A great deal of moderation in the decoration: white walls, beams on the roof and rattan furniture. Each villa also has a private garden, for some with a cleared view to the sea, especially No 8.

7/10

The hotel built a new dining room with open air barbecue facility. Open to the public, the restaurant is not very big but entirely opened to the outside. The guests can take their breakfast there and savour sea specialities served "à la carte" up to 10 pm.

8/10

Located below the hotel, a few feet by the road, the beach of Anse Lislette compellingly evokes the decor of postal cards: white sand, translucent water and some palms providing shade. Less frequented, it is also not equipped. A bit to the north is also located the gorgeous reserve of Port Launey and its feral creeks. From November to March, North-West trade winds bring back algae to the shoreline.
