Recently renovated and rather well situated at the heart of Saly resort, this club has modern infrastructures and quality equipment. Its excellent cuisine and magnificent beach make it one of the best destinations on the coast.

It is located in the centre of Saly seaside resort, some 50 miles south of Dakar. The journey from the airport to the hotel takes 1 hour and 30 minutes.

All rooms were renovated in 2000. The hotel organises cooking workshops to learn how to prepare local dishes. There is a casino, a golf course and a fishing centre in the resort. Several fishing methods are offered, as well as the possibility to go and fish in the Saloum delta.

The Framissima Palm Beach is a huge establishment that offers a very warm reception. It occupies an attractive palm-studded park served by an immense lobby. Located by the seashore, it stretches over about 7 acres of land and offers guests a well-ventilated and well-designed setting. The Palm Beach has 260 guestrooms, distributed in a modern building with two lifts. A place for relaxation and emotional bonding, the hotel stands out by its comfort and services as well as its sporting activities and leisure equipment, such as the two large swimming pools, one of which has a cascade with three basins. It is entirely air-conditioned (rooms, lobby, corridors) and offers numerous tours. There is a beauty saloon at the basement.

The Framissima rooms are very attractive, big, and very clean. Their decoration is simple but beautiful: wooden furniture, coloured bedding, floors laid with carpet or coir fibre, sculpted wood screens, numerous storage spaces. Some have a private balcony and the suites are particularly attractive and well-designed. The bathroom is spacious, with a big mirror, a bathtub, a hairdryer, a bathrobe and mules. Its equipment and services include: separate air-conditioning, satellite TV (11 channels), safe (for a fee), stocked mini-bar, direct telephone line and room-service for breakfast.

Three restaurants and a pizzeria are open till 5 pm. The Palm Beach offers buffet lunch and dinner inside or outside. The terrace is particularly pleasant. There are varied dishes. Five theme evenings are organised each week and the wine list is quite rich. The second, La Paillotte, situated near the swimming pool and the beach, offers grills and seafood in a sunny setting. Very beautiful terrace and excellent cuisine. The two restaurants close late and their cuisine is superb. The Saint-Louis bar receives tourists at any hour.

The beach, at the foot of the hotel, is very large, deep and well maintained. Since it is very much used, it offers a rather limited tranquillity. However, it has very fine sand and rather clear water compared to the rest of the coast. There is all the comfort you can wish for and the length of the beach makes for ample space: deckchairs, chairs, pads, parasols, palm trees?. The closeness of the bar also allows for drinking fresh cocktails in the sun. The hotel has a small water sport centre which offers sailing, windsurfing and sea kayaking. Fishing is not free and is done out of the area; so is golfing, quad riding or jet-skiing. A beach baby-club also welcomes kids while their parents tan.
